Why another blog?

Hello world. 

My name is Emily Jean West. 

I am 34 years old. 

I am a biological female (not that that will matter much in the future when gender roles disappear, but, for now I will address it). I am currently a stay-at-home wife, care taker of my disabled veteran husband, student (again), aunty of 2 (soon to be 3), grandmother of 2 (YUP, age-gap marriages will do that to you).I am also an aspiring; rock climber, sci-fi author, world traveler and one day AI engineer/programmer/overall cool person.

First I will address the big question.

Why another blog?

In my 3.4 decades on this earth I have had several blogs. In fact, my first ever public blog was right here on good old blogger. I'm sure at some point I'll share some of my old posts for posterity.

Here is another blog, because, WHY NOT. I do love to write, and I kinda figured if I stick with this one place for awhile I will have a nice chronicle of my happenings. Where I've been, what I've done, all that good stuff.

 As most of us know, 2020 was one helluva year, and parts of this blog will be dedicated to recording all those things that happened in that year.

Also, I am very cheap, and the last few blogs I've had I had to pay for. So, here I am again, back to .blogspot.com

So, what's next?
